FREE-STANDING BASES
Although the recommended installation method is to use either our Concrete Mount Kit, Deck Mount Kit or In-Ground Fitting Kit, if you absolutely cannot use one of these fittings in your space, we do offer the Free-Standing Base options below. If used, please note the wind guidelines for the Liberty are light to moderate winds only. The Free-standing Base is not an acceptable mounting option for the Isla 3.8 (12'5" Octagonal).

The Liberty is designed to handle moderate to moderately strong winds.

Please be advised that the Shademakers warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, wind, or wrongful use of the product. Read all instructions carefully to properly install and operate your Shademakers umbrella. Once installed, apply common sense wind guidelines: if it is much too windy to be outside enjoying the day under your umbrella, lower the canopy.
