ShadeScapes USA was born as a result of our own personal search for shade for our home in Paonia, a lovely rural valley in western Colorado. After renovating an old farmhouse and spending our first summer under the hot Colorado sun, we realized that shade was a requirement if our family was to fully enjoy the outdoor living spaces we had created.

Searching the World
We began our search for shade. Our goal: find a high quality shade solution that would hold up to the elements, solve specific shade problems, and add beauty to our home. After what seemed like a never-ending search, we discovered Shademakers umbrelllas.
